- There are two types of NRP procedures:
- Abdominal-NRP (A-NRP): Used when only abdominal organs
are being recovered - Thoracoabdominal-NRP (TA-NRP): Used when the heart and
other abdominal organs are being recovered
- Abdominal-NRP (A-NRP): Used when only abdominal organs
- Despite increasing successes, there are high levels of scrutiny and conversation regarding NRP techniques, with specific discussions on ethics (cardiac death versus brain death), and safety/quality within the process.
