EEG: CUSTOM SERVICE FOR YOUR NEEDS
We can complement your in-house team, provide support staff during incremental growth, or guide you through the process of building a program that will help you achieve your long-term goals.
SpecialtyCare offers the unique ability to provide you with a selection of neurodiagnostic services that will fit your custom needs. From newborn babies to adults, SpecialtyCare provides reliable EEG services across the nation, including high-quality routine, stat, ambulatory, and continuous EEG/LTM studies. Our skilled and specialized teams are capable of meeting all of your technical and professional EEG needs in several ways:
(TECH Services) This team comes directly to your patients. They are responsible for setting studies up, running accurate tests, and ensuring that reading physicians are able to view data. They are highly trained, experienced with a vast array of equipment, and are comfortable working in a diverse range of settings, including intensive care units, epilepsy monitoring units, emergency rooms, and outpatient clinics.
(TECH+ Services) This group of skilled technologists review data remotely via secure platforms. They prune traces in preparation for physician review and alert physicians if a patient needs immediate attention.
(PRO Services) Neurologist EEG/LTM Interpretation: Our neurologists are fellowship-trained and board certified in EEG/LTM interpretation. They provide support for patients of all ages and will call the primary hospital physician to relay urgent results, as well as place timely reports for your facility’s EHR.
At SpecialtyCare, we build and support the field of neurodiagnostics and know that our EEG technologists are the vital link between patients who need critical care and the doctors that are there to help. With skill and precision, EEG technologists apply a complex pattern of head leads that interface with computer systems to record brainwave activity and convert it to visible traces. In addition to assessing patients with chronic conditions such as epilepsy, physicians also utilize these EEG traces to help diagnose and treat patients that present with a myriad of symptoms that may be associated with numerous conditions, including seizures, encephalitis, tumors, stroke, and dementia.
