SPECIALTYCARE’S SURGICAL Specialist SERVICES
Hospitals that are experiencing quality and availability issues with their complex instruments will benefit from our Surgical Specialists. We offer specialized solutions for Minimally Invasive Surgery, which include the most common/general procedures but also provide custom solutions for Robotics, Ortho/Neuro/ Spine, Cardiovascular, and GI procedures. These cases utilize highly complex instruments that, if not handled or processed correctly, can become a patient risk and a significant cost to the hospital.
In these types of procedures, our Specialists are responsible for the entire daily cycle of the instrumentation and equipment. Starting in Sterile Processing, the Specialists clean, inspect, and prepare the instruments for sterilization. They assist with OR setup and troubleshoot any issues during the case. Post case, they transport the instruments back to the Sterile Processing Department and begin the process again.
