SpecialtyCare CEO, Sam Weinstein, MD, MBA, said, “We are thrilled to be joining forces with a company as innovative and patient-centered as Synapse. When two companies share these values and are committed to building a highly-skilled, confident team, it is a winning combination for the patients, hospitals, and communities we support.”

With Synapse, SpecialtyCare increases the number of associates available to support cases in our existing markets across the United States while adding significant new coverage in Indiana and Kentucky. “When I started Synapse almost two decades ago, I made a commitment to build the best team possible to exceed the highest possible standards of customer and patient care,” Michelle Nagel Synapse’s owner remarked. “We’ve done that, and have found a partner in SpecialtyCare who will nurture our existing team and continue to expand our opportunities for growth and development.”

“Together, Synapse and SpecialtyCare will continue to provide unmatched neuromonitoring services to even more customers,” remarked Jonathan Walters, SpecialtyCare’s President IONM. “SpecialtyCare is extremely proud to be the leaders in IONM practice and the addition of the talented team from Synapse will only enhance our ability to provide exceptional patient care.
