Marshfield Medical Center provides the latest medical technology, research, and education to serve patients from all over the world. It is the premier medical center in central Wisconsin. Our wonderful team consists of an area clinical manager and three staff perfusionists that work at the Marshfield and Weston locations. SpecialtyCare has had the good fortune of working with an experienced surgeon who performs every type of heart surgery, excluding heart transplants.
Our current caseload is approximately 450 adult only cases per year with 5% off pump and expect continued growth in the program. The ECMO program is run collaboratively with nursing as the primary and perfusion in a supporting role for the majority of ECMO runs. This unique opportunity offers a diverse caseload for developing and maintaining high-end perfusion skills.

Position Requirements & Valued Competencies
The successful candidate must bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional and personal values that complement the team and company vision.
Position Requirements:
- Holds current certification from American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or eligible and/or meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital.

How much travel is involved?
Travel would be expected to cover Weston, typically 25%.
How often will I be on call?
50% with 4 perfusionist… 2nd call has a longer response time then 1st call.
What’s the work-life balance for this position?
Excellent, caseload is about 300 total procedures shared amongst 4 Perfusionist.
What kinds of cases will I see?
All types of cardiac, CABG, Valves, Dissections, Minimal Invasive Valves, and HIPEC. SpecialtyCare has had the good fortune of working with an experienced surgeon who performs every type of heart surgery, excluding heart transplants.
