On February 1, 2017, SpecialtyCare completed an asset purchase of Trident Health Resources, Inc., a highly regarded, clinically focused perfusion company based in Dunedin, Florida. Founded by CEO and President Ralph E. Jordan in 1988, Trident has a tremendous reputation for providing evidence-based perfusion services with a patient-first approach to care. That’s why we are so excited to welcome Trident’s people and their deep expertise and experience to our team. We’re also excited about Trident’s legacy of data collection. We look forward to adding the team’s clinical data to SCOPE™, the SpecialtyCare Operative Procedural Registry, which will now grow at a rate of more than 120,000 open heart and perfusion-related procedures each year. This will give our newest customers, surgeons, and OR teams access to robust quality reporting that includes national benchmarks and data-driven clinical standards in addition to the best practices that we share with the perfusion industry at large.

We appreciate the rigor of the company’s quality programs as well as its history of ethical administrative practices and regulatory compliance.
